Preventing Bullying

    Bullying can threaten students’ physical and emotional safety at school and can negatively impact their ability to learn. The best way to address bullying is to stop it before it starts. There are a number of things the staff do to make New Lebanon School a safe and welcoming enivronment.

  • All faculty presentation on bullying, staff responsibilities and investigation procedures
  • Social-emotional learning lessons provided by school psychologists in all classrooms throughout the year
  • Individual classroom presentations on bullying by district behavior coaches
  • Lunch Bunch groups
  • Mix it Up at lunch day
  • Administrators investigate any suspicion of bullying
